Namibia Bass Angling is a powerboat based, individual participation sport in which competitors fish, with artificial lures only, for the species of largemouth bass (Micropterus salmoides) only. The aim is to catch five (5) large mouth bass, during the allocated tournament time. The heaviest five (5) bass make up a bag, with the angler weighing the individual heaviest bag, winning the tournament day. Catch-and-release is strictly adhered to and all fish are released live.
